Sarah Wairimu Cohen has pleaded not guilty to murdering her husband, Tob Cohen, in July 2019.
The High Court will on Monday, February 3 determine whether she will be granted cash bail.
Earlier, Justice Diana Mochache ruled that there was no need for Sarah to undergo a mental health assessment.
“I therefore decline the application by the prosecution to have the accused person undergo a mental health assessment,” she ruled.
Wairimu will remain at the Lang’ata Prison until Monday when she will be arraigned.

She was arrested on Thursday last week and detained at the Kilimani Police Station, with her lawyers alleging that the police lied to her to go pick up some of her valuables from the station.
She spent the night in custody and was arraigned on Friday, but failed to take a plea.
The Director of Public Prosecutions then made an application seeking to have her undergo a mental health assessment.
The application was however challenged by her lawyer, Conrad Maloba, who said that the State should rely on her earlier assessment that was done when she was first charged with the murder in 2019.
