The battle for supremacy in the FKF Premier League takes center stage this weekend as Tusker FC and Kenya Police lock horns in a high-stakes clash at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos.

With both teams tied at 37 points, this encounter could shape the title race, adding intensity to an already fiery fixture.

Tusker, second on the log, hold a superior head-to-head record against Kenya Police, having won four of their last seven meetings, drawn twice, and lost only once. Their last loss to Police was a 3-0 defeat back in 2023, a result they will be keen to avoid.

However, form favors Kenya Police, who are unbeaten in their last 11 matches, winning nine and drawing twice. This remarkable run has propelled them to the summit, albeit on goal difference.

Their defensive solidity—conceding just 10 goals all season—will be crucial in containing Tusker’s potent attack, which has netted 31 times, the highest in the league.

AFC Leopards, currently fourth with 29 points, will be keen to solidify their position when they host Kariobangi Sharks at Dandora Stadium. Leopards have shown flashes of brilliance this season, and a win would keep them within touching distance of the top three.

Meanwhile, KCB, also on 29 points, take on Murang’a Seal in Machakos. With the race for continental qualification heating up, both Leopards and KCB know that every point matters.

At the other end of the table, Nairobi City Stars (16th, 17 points) and Bidco United (17th, 17 points) face off in a crunch relegation battle at Kenyatta Stadium. With both teams struggling for form, a win could prove to be the spark needed for survival.

Posta Rangers, bottom of the log with 17 points, face a daunting task against seventh-placed Shabana FC. With just nine matches left, time is running out for teams in the danger zone.
